Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi Hospital, located on Al Sowah Island near the heart of the city, will offer advanced medical technologies, high-performance facility design and unprecedented levels of patient-centered care. A village concept theme helps establish a new sense of community, with a centerpiece building that provides a gathering place, and smaller surrounding structures that house medical specializations.
Georgia State University, Parker H. Petit Science Center

Situated in downtown Atlanta, the Parker H. Petit Science Center decompresses teaching and research space filled to capacity by introducing new, state-of-the-art labs equipped to accommodate GSU's diverse science program. The soaring glass entrance distinguishes the Science Center within its urban context, serving both as a landmark for the east side of the campus and an anchor for GSU's science zone.
U.S. Centers for Diseases Control (CDC), National Center for Infectious Diseases Laboratory and Vivarium Facility

This large vivarium facility includes a 300,000 SF replacement vivarium, including BSL-2 and BSL-3 holding space, a 20,000 SF insectary, and a cGMP facility. By locating the mechanical space on the perimeter of the building, the design eliminates traditional physical barriers between lab blocks and increases the visibility of the engineering, celebrating the facilitys mechanical ingenuity.
Bellevue Medical Center

The new Bellevue Medical Center is modeled on a hospitality environment. It is warm and welcoming, incorporating a modern vocabulary comprising vernacular rectilinear shapes made of natural materials - stone, wood, metal and glass. These simple, linear forms tie the building to the surrounding landscape. The overarching vision for the new medical center is community. With the understanding that it is the community that nurtures and heals, the center provides comfort with dignity in a continuum of health and wellness.
U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Rio Grande Valley Border Patrol Sector Headquarters
Edinburg, TX, USA
This headquarters facility was designed as a contemporary administrative campus that embodies a sense of community for the 2,000 agents who work there. A curved, tree-lined promenade is punctuated by the main administration buildings, forming the entry and a grand central courtyard beyond.
United States Courthouse
Laredo, TX, USA
The courthouse was sited to respond to the rich architectural character of historic downtown, with a low three-story mass to reflect the neighborhood context. It accommodates courtroom/judicial suites, court support spaces, government agency offices and secure lobby/entry screening components. The use of simple yet powerful monumental forms, elegantly detailed, express the permanence and dignity of the United States courts system.
Wake County Detention Center, Phase 2 Expansion

This new facility combines improved efficiency and safety while planning for future expansion and minimizing environmental impact. As a multi-use facility, the role of identification in booking and open intake as well as administration space and forensic labs were incorporated, creating an innovative, responsible, and forward thinking criminal justice facility.
Unilever, Agile Workplace
Englewood Cliffs, NJ, USA
The IT departments traditional office environment with assigned cubicles and private offices was transformed into a free address work space, designed to provide a variety of activity settings to support a range of work tasks as well as individual work styles. The new Agile Workplace design resulted in a 50% decrease in square foot per person; we are now implementing this kit of parts for other departments at Englewood Cliffs.
