Doug Wignall, AIA, LEED AP, healthcare director for HDR Architecture, Inc., was included on Healthcare Design magazine’s recently-released list of “The Most Influential People in Healthcare Design.”
“On this list, you'll find a veritable who's who of the healthcare design industry, from architects and interior designers to academics and researchers,” said Todd Hutlock, editor. “We feel that the list is representative of today's best and brightest, and we congratulate those individuals who made this final list—surely one of the most heartening and flattering forms of praise is recognition from one's peers.”
Doug was one of 50 healthcare design leaders on a shortlist of nominations. Upon completion of a public voting process, the magazine’s Editorial Board and its publishing partners at The Center for Health Design deliberated to arrive at a final list of 25 individuals.
“I can’t think of anyone more deserving of this recognition than Doug, who works very hard to ensure that HDR continues its prominence as a design and thought leader in healthcare, a field that touches most people from nearly every walk of life,” commented Merle Bachman, AIA, HDR Architecture president.
